The Work Programme is divided into individual work packages and approved by the members of the Platform. Work on these packages takes place in groups and progress reports are given regularly at meetings of the Platform.

Background and details of the Work Programme

Following knowledge exchange and wide-ranging discussions on this topic during the Expert Dialogue and Platform meetings, a Work Programme has been developed with particular areas of focus.

The overarching themes of this programme are:

  • Networking within and between research, education, industry, stakeholders and public administration;
  • Public relations work/awareness-raising around green chemistry;
  • Strengthening green chemistry in the individual areas (research, tertiary education sector, secondary (and primary) education sector, business and industry, stakeholders, public administration);
  • Developing assessment criteria (metrics) for green chemistry.

The Work Programme is divided into clearly defined work packages, each to be developed by a specified completion date within a team with a designated spokesperson.

Proposals for changes or updates to work packages or new tasks can be submitted at any time if current developments or new issues make this necessary. The Work Programme is therefore being continuously supplemented, expanded and adapted.
